Benny Blanco continues to show the world how far people should go to show their love. The producer and songwriter has publicly showered Selena Gomez with love in all the different forms. We all know about the sweet prom-themed moments he brought into Gomez’s life this year. A new revelation is proving once again that Blanco is so in love with Gomez that nothing will stop him from being with her, not even his fear of flying.

Benny Blanco is very open about his fear of flying

Selena Gomez and Blanco opened up about his fear of flying during an interview on “On Purpose with Jay Shetty.” It turns out that Blanco has never flown on a plane while dating Gomez. He admits that he has flown in the past, but has a legitimate fear of flying. The host of the show asked Gomez what she thinks Blanco would be like on a flight. Her response shows the deep love the couple has for each other.

“I don’t even know if I want to know because I would be so worried about him,” Gomez said.

His fear of flying has never been a secret

During an interview on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! Podcast, Blanco openly discussed how he manages to travel without flying. It isn’t easy but the peace of mind that it brings him seems to be worth the extra effort.

“I’m so afraid of flying,” Blanco admitted while saying ex-girlfriends have offered to get him into the mile-high club. “That’s my worst nightmare. Like, when I get on a plane, you see that thing there with the time on it, I don’t miss one minute on the thing. I’m just like glued to the thing, staring at it.”

He also admits that this isn’t a forever thing. He used to be okay with fly and flew all the time when he was younger. Apparently, Blanco had some bad flight experiences and started to get into his head about it.

His fear of flying won’t stop him from seeing his love

Gomez films “Only Murders in the Building” in New York and spending too much time apart is hard for any couple. So, in order to spend time together, Blanco regularly drives from Los Angeles to New York to visit Gomez. They discussed how they manage to maintain a long-distance relationship while Gomez is filming on “Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware.”

“It’s just so hard,” Gomez told the hosts. “I mean, I don’t think it is typical, but what I do love about the distance is it does make us miss each other and cherish the time we have together. But two weeks is like ideal. But if I’m being really honest, it’s like two days and then I get really sad.”

The couple likes to see each other every three weeks at the least. Be on the lookout. If you live in the middle of the U.S. you might have a chance to meet Blanco during a love pilgrimage.
