Shakira is taking the U.S. by storm, coast to coast. The 47-year-old singer electrified the Coachella festival stage Friday night by joining Bizarrap’s late-night set.

The Colombian singer joined the famed DJ, with whom she collaborated for her hit “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53,” about half an hour into his set. As Variety reported, Shakira suddenly appeared behind Bizarrap, wearing an orange dress and giant aviator sunglasses.

As she walked down the platform, the crowd went wild. Shakira walked to the edge of the stage and spoke to the attendees in Spanish and English, explaining what she had meant earlier in the day when she announced on social media that “La loba se viene.”

Shakira announces her upcoming tour

During the performance with Bizarrap, the stage screen lit up and read “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.” In this way, Shakira announced to her fans that she would be going on tour around the world with her first album since 2017, which features collaborations with Cardi B, Rauw Alejandro, and more.

And she did it in style.

Despite lobbying Coachella organizers to headline this year’s lineup, Shakira was not invited. But in the singer’s best style, that didn’t stop her. Her performance was praised by critics and fans alike, and the Colombian star asked stylist Nicholas Brunch to dress her in a custom-dyed silk chiffon knit dress by Natalia Fender.
