Your Valentine’s Day Lingerie Guide, Women-Owned Certified
Valentine’s Day lingerie shopping can feel like a trap. Either it’s made for one type of body, one type of gaze, or one type of “sexy” that doesn’t even sound like you.
So we did what we always do: we went where the women are. This year’s picks come from women-owned brands that understand craft, confidence, and the kind of romance that starts with you.
Inclusive lingerie that actually gets it: Cantiq
If you’ve ever tried on lingerie and thought, who made this?, Cantiq has the answer. Founder Chelsea Hughes started cantiqLA in 2015 with a vintage sewing machine in her home kitchen, and the mission still hits the same: quality, handcrafted lingerie for all bodies. She designs in straight, plus, and genderfluid sizes because lingerie should fit you, not the other way around.
Our pick: Bandage Boyshorts Gift Set (For All Anatomies)

This set brings the one-two punch of delicate lace and bold pin-up-inspired thigh strap detailing. According to the brand, the Bandage Boyshort “lifts and accentuates every butt it meets,” and honestly, we love a product description that stands ten toes down.

Hand dyed satin elastic trim, breathable nylon spandex lace, straps designed to curve and accentuate. Handmade ethically in Los Angeles. Hand wash only. Each set includes Black, Succulent, and Red.
Soft romance with real roots: Salua
Salua feels like the kind of lingerie story we want more of. It started in 1993 in Santa Marta, Colombia, and was founded by the owner’s mother, who named it after her sister. The brand built its reputation on classic cotton nightgowns across the Caribbean coast. Today, Salua is designed in Seattle and ethically made in Colombia, with a storefront that has become a local favorite and an online community that is still treated with the intimacy of a boutique.
According to owner Shadia K’David, the brand still sources silks and its signature cotton silk blend gowns from her mother’s workshop in Santa Marta, while another small family-owned workshop in Medellín produces pima cotton loungewear and sleepwear. That kind of continuity feels rare, and it shows in the vibe.
Our pick: Bare Underwire Longline Bra by Else

This one’s for the minimalists who still want structure. The Bare collection keeps it sheer and simple, then adds underwire support up to a DD cup. Longline style, adjustable straps, hook and eye closure in back.
Composition: 78% polyamide, 22% elastane. Hand wash only.
Miami energy, main character lingerie: Voight
Voight is a Miami-based brand founded in 2019 by Valentina Voight with creatives Nat Hernandez and Karl Darcy, built around empowerment and confidence with custom detailing in the garments and packaging. The brand’s own message says it best: “It’s not just a brand, it’s a movement.” Love, Valentina.
Our pick: Janet Bodysuit in Black

This bodysuit features engineered, stretchy black floral heart lace, satin tie-back halter straps, and double-mesh-lined cups for a deep V, while maintaining adjustable support. Lace trim and monochrome satin-black pearl bow detailing add a classic lingerie feel, while the brand goes fully spicy with strappy thigh cutouts and an open back. Snap clasp crotch for easy on and off.
Bonus: Sizes XL to 3X feature thicker straps for more support.
A Latina goddess slip for your soft life: Señora Calzones
Señora Calzones is a Latina-owned lingerie and loungewear brand for “DIOSAS,” designed to support women of color as they liberate their inner femme fire and thrive. Founder Laura Bianca Olvera, a Los Angeles native and small-business owner, builds the brand around empowerment, community, and the belief that everyone deserves to express their sexuality and femme essence without judgment or shame.
Our pick: Lady in Red Slip Dress

This one reads like a love letter, with red satin, an adjustable back tie for a right-hugging fit, and delicate lace trim for a touch of elegance to your flirtation. It’s the kind of piece you wear when you want to feel like your own Valentine.
